Our first acquisition, this 60-acre preserve of open, rolling fields, woodlands and two ponds is open to the public year-round for walking, photography, birdwatching and fishing.
Directions: From Middletown, take Co. Rt. 49, Wawayanda Road west. After you pass under I-84, take the second right, Mt. Orange Road, then the first left onto Ethan Way. The entrance to Hunter Farm Preserve is directly in front of the stop sign at the end of Ethan Way. Park on the street. For GPS, use 65 Jared Court, Slate Hill, NY 10973.
