Middletown's Mainframe Gallery to Hold Local Art Show and Sale to Benefit Orange County Land Trust Middletown, NY (OCLT) Mainframe Gallery located at 513 East Main Street in Middletown will host an art exhibit and sale entitled "Local Art for Local Landscapes" with an opening reception on Sunday, December 7 from 2-5 pm. The show will run throughout the month of December with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of local art benefiting the Orange County Land Trust. Participating artists include Middletown oil and pastel painter Dennis Fanton, pastel painter Anne Kelly, also of Middletown, and painter Cynthia Harris-Pagano of Otisville, who works in oil and pastels. All three offer giclee reproductions of their work. The show will also feature the art work of photographers Renee Stover of Fair Oaks, her daughter Ellie Stover, a student at Rochester Institute of Technology, and Gertraud Fendler of Virginia, formerly of Bloomingburg. Mainframe Gallery has been locally owned and operated by Jean Fischbeck Warren and her husband Rob Warren since 1986. In addition to the sale of local art, the gallery offers quality matting and framing. "Local Art for Local Landscapes" is their first art show and sale to benefit a local cause. The Orange County Land Trust is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve the fields, forests, wetlands, ridgelines and river corridors in and around Orange County. Since 1993, the Land Trust has protected nearly 4,000 acres of land, including working farms, in almost every community in the county and one in Sullivan County.
