The Orange County Land Trust will sponsor a free, guided hike up Schunnemunk Mountain beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. Led by long time OCLT Board Member and avid hiker Dr. Douglas McBride, this easy to moderate, family friendly hike leads to a breathtaking overlook of the Hudson River Valley.
Reservations are not required. Meeting place is at the hikers’ parking area on Clove Road just south of Hil-Mar Lodge in Salisbury Mills. All hikers are encouraged to wear comfortable boots and bring a bag lunch and plenty of water.
